Leadership experience
Led by a former Minnesota state director
Director, Enterprise Translations Office
Adam established and led Minnesota’s centralized multilingual service, supporting more than 25 state agencies. The operation combined professional linguists, AI-assisted translation and consistent quality controls to improve public communication.
- Built the service’s strategy, staffing, intake and interagency coordination.
- Introduced AI-assisted drafting with professional human review and terminology guidance.
- Established performance measures and workflows for accountable delivery.
- Expanded multilingual delivery for MN.gov and other public information.
OpenAI’s case study describes the office’s approach to human review, faster turnaround and more efficient use of public resources.
This experience reflects Adam’s former government role. North Align Consulting LLC is an independent business and is not endorsed by the State of Minnesota.
How engagements work
- Define the work. Agree on the operational problem, scope, deliverables, owners, and acceptance criteria. Identify available baseline information and choose measures that fit the assignment.
- Put the plan into practice. Prepare the information, procedures, reporting, and staff guidance needed for the work. Support implementation with the people responsible for delivery, decisions, and review.
- Evaluate and hand over. Compare results with the agreed baseline where data allows. Document limitations, outstanding issues, responsible owners, and the steps needed to maintain the work.
Depending on the assignment, measures may include processing time, staff effort and delivery cost, errors and rework, or overdue actions and documented approvals.
